Aymeric Metz

Aymeric is currently a student at the Engineering School of Seatech (Toulon, south of France) and he's specialized in mechanic innovation for sustainable systems. During his education, he worked on different project like, for example, the construction and adjustment of a 3D printer and other entrepreneurial projects. Aymeric also participated in a business competition and with a project to create a supermarket without plastic packaging. After the internship at U.Porto innovation, he will finish his education in Seatech.

Petry Carvalhal Melo

During his academic journey, Petry was always an entrepreneurship and innovation enthusiast. He won several entrepreneurship related awards and was an internal adviser at a junior company in 2014. Between 2013 and 2015, Petry was the HSBC Water Programme co-coordinator and responsible for the Entrepreneurship Club from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. Recently, he worked as a member of the Enactus CAASO and national quality coordinator at Ideation Brasil.

WENDY CARRARO

Master in Administration by the PPGA of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, in the area of ​​Information Systems to support decision making with emphasis on Systems Modeling (2009 ). Specialist in Controllership from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2000). He holds a degree in Economics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (2004) and a degree in Accounting from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1997). She is currently an Adjunct Professor at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul in the Department of Accounting and Actuarial Sciences and the Graduate Program in Accounting (PPGCONT) at UFRGS. 

Purevsuren Tseveg

Purevsuren Tseveg has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the Economic and Business school of Mongolian State University of Agriculture. After graduating university, she worked as Marketing lecturer, Project manager of JICA and national expert of European union project in Mongolia. Currently she is working as a specialist of Research and Innovation department of National University of Mongolia (NUM) and her main activity is focusing on the marketing of Research and Innovation.

MARCEAU DACLIN

Institution: Télécom Physique Strasbourg at the University of Strasbourg

Internship time: June 2015 – September 2015

Marceau Daclin is a French student of the engineering school Télécom Physique Strasbourg where he studies Engineering.  He belonged to a team work in order to achieve a project for the Leiden University in Netherlands, whose objective was to detect neurological disorders in children with a game. The team developed the entire tablet’s design and the gadget, thanks to motion detection algorithm, can help with the diagnosis. Once the U.Porto Inovação internship ends, Marceau will return to TPS to finish his studies.

Merve Mıtış

Merve has a Bachelor’s degree in Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Gaziantep, Turkey and attended basic level training in robotics, organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Turkey) in 2013. She also attended training organized by cooperation between Intel and the Ministry of Family and Social Policies (Turkey) – from 22-23 February, 2014. Due to this experience, she presented a project which included innovative technology-based solutions aiming to prevent gender inequality. She was first place.

Gabriela Reis

Gabriela has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo (USP), and in 2014 she attended a 6 months internship at U.Porto Inovação due to USP’s Entreneurship programe. With professional experience in Marketing and Communication, she currently works as a Marketing Analyst in a retail sector company in Brazil and as a Marketing Coordinator at the national office in a NGO present in nine Brazilian cities.

Murilo Merlo

Murilo started his degree in Business Administration in 2011 in the city of Ribeirão Preto, with training in December 2015. He had participated in several activities during this period as student organizations, research projects and tutoring of some subjects. He attended the U.Porto Inovação internship in 2014 and another one, a social one, in the city of Ibague (Colombia) in July 2015. He currently operates in capital markets and intends to keep working in this financial field.

Paula Paranaiba

Paula has a Bachelor's Degree in Informatics at the University of Sao Paulo, in Brazil. She worked for 2 years as a Project Analyst in companies related to the Information and Communications Technologies sector. She also worked in Intellectual Property and Innovation during internships at the University of Sao Paulo and University of Porto. Currently she works as a System Analyst at Safra Bank, where she participates in a Career Acceleration Program for newly graduated employees.

MARCOS MAIA

Marcos tem uma pós-graduação em Ciência e Tecnologia de Alimentos e uma licenciatura em Engenharia Química pela Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro. Em 1990 foi admitido para o cargo de Analista para a então Área de Extensão Tecnológica do Centro Nacional de Pesquisa Agroindustrial de Alimentos-CTAA, Embrapa. Em 1996, já como Analista A, assumiu a coordenação da nova Área de Comunicação e Negócios da Unidade onde atuou até 2003. A partir de agosto de 2003 assumiu a Chefia Adjunta de Administração da Unidade onde atuou até abril de 2008.
